Integrated Patient Care for New RN by Simulation Based Learning
To familiarize the new registered nurse with the environment and enable them to adapt to work effectively, thereby building confidence in their job performance and enhancing their patient care capabilities. Simulation Center was organized “Integrated Patient Care for New RN by Simulation Based Learning” for registered nurses who are new employees of MedPark Hospital. The training was facilitated by blended learning methods, including online learning, theoretical sessions, and practical training through simulation-based education. The event was honored by Miss Kamolwan Intra, registered nurse and Senior Division Director of the Simulation Center (TMG 88), and Miss Chanthraphorn Khamkong registered nurse and Clinical Competency Assessment Manager from the Simulation Center (Thai Medical 88 Company Limited), Capt. Sirinapha Sukcharoen, registered nurse and duty manager, Miss Supattra Parinyachet, registered nurse and Cardiology Center Manager, Miss Siriwat Wongsakote, registered nurse from Intravenous Therapy Service (IV Team), and Miss Pratuangporn Wongkanchana, registered nurse from the Critical Care Unit at MedPark Hospital, who acted as instructors. This practical training provided participants with hands-on experience in nursing practices following MedPark Hospital’s guidelines, leading to their application in patient care effectively and safely. It also helped participants become more familiar with the environment and adapt to work more efficiently.
