Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Provider-AHA Card
The Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) course, which is a standard program of the American Heart Association (AHA). The training was provided to physician and registered nurses at MedPark Hospital and Chaophraya Hospital, focusing on providing participants with knowledge and understanding of assessing and diagnosing conditions related to cardiac arrest and abnormal heart rhythms. They were trained to use resuscitation equipment and related medications accurately and effectively, including basic life support and advanced life support according to established guidelines. Additionally, the training enhanced communication skills and teamwork in advanced life support scenarios through blended learning, including online learning, theoretical sessions, and practical sessions using simulations. The training program has Capt. Dr. Jariya Santatianant, an anesthesiologist and Assistant Director of Somdech Phra Pinklao Hospital, Royal Thai Navy Medical Department as Course Director and has instructors including: Dr. Dhanadol Rojanasarntikul (Emergency Medicine Physician, Emergency Medicine Department, Chulalongkorn Hospital, Thai Medical Council), Dr. Khuansiri Narajeenron (Cardiologist, Emergency Medicine Department, Chulalongkorn Hospital, Thai Medical Council), Dr. Panithan Kwangwaropas (Emergency Medicine Physician and Head of the Medical Simulation Center, Royal Thai Military Medical Academy), Dr. Patima Puttaphaisan (Emergency Medicine Physician, Emergency Medicine Department, MedPark Hospital) and Dr. Wipra Worasawate (Anesthesiologist, MedPark Hospital). This training provided participants with experience in assessing and diagnosing cardiac arrest and abnormal heart rhythms, accurately using resuscitation equipment and related medications, enhancing communication skills, and working as a team according to international standards.
