Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate Renewal Course – AHA Certified

The PALS Renewal – AHA Card, which is a standard course of the American Heart Association. This course, held on July 15, 2025, was designed for registered nurses from MedPark Hospital. It aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge and understanding of assessing and diagnosing pediatric cardiac arrest and abnormal heart rhythms. The training emphasized the correct and effective use of resuscitation equipment and related medications, as well as improving both basic and advanced life support skills according to established guidelines. Additionally, the course aimed to enhance communication skills and teamwork during advanced resuscitation efforts through a blended learning approach, which included online learning, theoretical instruction, and practical simulations. The training was directed by Dr. Poomiporn Katayuwong, a pediatric cardiologist from the Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University and other esteemed instructors included Dr. Darin bunchongsilp, Pediatric Pulmonology at Bangkok Hospital. Participants gained invaluable experience in managing and diagnosing pediatric cardiac emergencies, ensuring the correct and effective use of resuscitation equipment and medications. The training also improved their communication and teamwork skills, adhering to international standards, thus enhancing their overall competence in pediatric emergency care.
