Neonatal Resuscitation Program

The Simulation Center of Thai Medical 88 Co., Ltd. And Thai Neonatal Society, organized a Neonatal Resuscitation Program on June 9th, 2024, at MedPark Hospital conference room. This training was aimed at physicians and registered nurses from MedPark Hospital including registered nurses from other hospitals, focusing on equipping participants with the knowledge and skills necessary for neonatal resuscitation. Participants were trained in diagnosing respiratory and cardiac arrest in newborns and administering emergency medications effectively. They also learned to use advanced resuscitation equipment and tools accurately and efficiently. The training combined theoretical learning with practical sessions, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the procedures. The course was directed by Assist.Prof.Dr Santi Punnahitananda, Pediatrics, Neonatal and Perinatal Medicine from Pediatrics department, Faculty of medicine, Chulalongkorn University . His expertise greatly contributed to the success of the training program. After completing this training, participants gained valuable experience in newborn resuscitation, respiratory and cardiac arrest diagnosis, and emergency medication administration. They also learned to use advanced neonatal resuscitation equipment correctly and effectively, increasing their confidence in handling critical newborn situations. This training ultimately enhances the overall effectiveness and benefits provided to newborns.
